'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' Spinoff In The Works
A "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Spinoff is coming to Paramount.
The "Cobra Kai" creators will be behind the project.
Variety describes the project by saying, "Titled 'Sam and Victor’s Day Off,' the film is a side story that focuses on the titular characters on the same day as Ferris, Cameron, and Sloane skipped school in the ’86 flick."
The OG film did well in theaters. It made $70 million and became the 10th highest grossing domestic film the year it came out.
There is no word yet on when the project will drop.
