New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn denied rumors that the team was attempting to trade running back Breece Hall amid months of speculation during his press conference on Wednesday (October 15).

"They're rumors. I still feel the same way," Glenn said, reiterating his stance that he kept since the preseason, via ESPN.

Hall, 24, told reporters that he didn't want to be traded last Friday (October 10) ahead of the Jets' Week 6 loss to the Denver Broncos in London before sharing a cryptic post on the day of the game.

"They want me to lay down but I got sum to stand for… 🚶🏾‍♂️‍➡️#Free20," Hall wrote on his Instagram account.

Hall was selected by the Jets at No. 36 overall in the second-round of the 2022 NFL Draft and has led the team, in rushing yards every year since his rookie season, which includes 410 yards on 88 carries (4.7 yards per carry) through his first six games of the 2025 season. The Jets, however, remain winless, having last won during the final game of the 2024 season in January and haven't made a postseason appearance since 2010.

The Jets (0-6) will host the Carolina Panthers (3-3) on Sunday (October 19).
