Puddle of Mudd's Wes Scantlin claimed he was "roofied" by his ex-bandmate after he was criticized for a disastrous performance over the weekend. The band played a benefit show at the Broken Spoke Saloon during Daytona Bike Week in Florida, and some fans walked out after a few songs because the frontman was acting impaired.

Disgruntled attendees aired their grievances in the comments section of a Facebook post shared by the venue.

"I feel bad for the band to have to play such good instruments while Wes just stumbled and rambled about fred durst on stage. Good work amazing performance put on to everyone but Wes," wrote one.

"I'm so glad that was a free show. I'd be pissed if I spent my money to see that terrible show," wrote anither. "We left after 4 songs. When the band trashed the opening song and singer kept joking about I knew it was going to be a s**t show."

Ahead of the show, Puddle of Mudd auctioned off a signed guitar with the proceeds benefitting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. "What a disaster that concert was left after 30 minutes good thing the guitar was auctioned off before they went on…." one fan mentioned.

After the cringey show, Scantlin made an alarming claim in a video posted to the Facebook account Cash4HarleyParts.com. “I suck, I suck and I suck … but I was roofied,” he said in reference to the performance. “My old bass player Sean Sammon roofied me last night, so he can go f**k his a**.”

This is just the latest in years of embarrassing performances and odd behavior displayed by Scantlin. In 2020, he got dragged for his cover of Nirvana's "About A Girl" and has been arrested multiple times.
