Anthony Bourdain Once Wrote an Apology to Josh Homme's Young Daughter

It's been nearly a month since Anthony Bourdain tragically left this worldand on Friday (June 29) Queens of the Stone Age front man Josh Homme took to Twitter to write a heartfelt tribute to the late chef/author/TV personality aside a letter Bourdain had written to his now 12-year-old daughter following the pair's 2011 No Reservations episode.

"Tony, I miss you bad Once," the rockstar wrote. "Camille was so mad at you. She was defending me. & So were you. Ariane, this was your father. Humbly yours, Joshua."

“I hear you were very upset with me after seeing the promo for this show, which I filmed recently with your Daddy and his friends,” Bourdain's letter to Camille Homme began. “You saw me take daddy’s guitar and smash it against a tree and I’m sure that was upsetting. That this was in fact a not so subtle homage to the early works of John Landis and John Belushi is something you could have hardly been expected to know, ANIMAL HOUSE having been released long before you were born, and I apologize."

The letter goes on to assure Camille that the guitar they smashed was "not really daddy's guitar" and went into depth about Bourdain and Homme's friendship.
